Representing God

Can you all remember what you did, and who you were connected to before you became a new Creature in Christ? Okay, you don’t remember, well I do. During my days of partying and clubbing, if you were dating or involved with a man that had a name for himself, or “power” as the streets say you knew to represent him well at all times. I’m talking, hair done, nails done, feet done, the right outfit, your choice of words and so much more…Come on now, don’t act like you don’t know. You wouldn’t be caught missing a beat because you were so wrapped up in pleasing and representing him that you stayed on point with pretty much everything. The thought of making him look bad was something you never wanted to do. Afraid of losing him, when truth is told he was never yours anyway, and if you represented him or not if he wanted to go….guess what, he was going.

Now I have a HUGE concern. Now that you are saved and serving God, why don’t you care about the way you represent him (God). God will never leave or forsake you. He’s loving, caring, faithful, and loyal, a healer, a deliver, a provider and so much more. He deserves the up most respect and the best representation at all times. Don’t you understand that you are being watched by many, including him? Don’t you care about the way he feels? Example, when you walk into a store and you hear people talking, immediately if you hear someone with a foreign accent you can tell that person is from another country by the way they speak. My question to you is can people tell that you are a Christian... Someone that has a personal and strong relationship with God, by your vocabulary, or by your actions? It’s time to give God what’s due. Not just only on Bible study night, or Sunday service. I’m talking everyday of your life 365, 24/7. The point I’m trying to make is, you may be the only Bible people ever read. Your God’s representatives …… please represent him well.
