Sisters Building Sisters

As I was sitting here getting ready to sign my first book, I thought about when SBS got started. Tears of joy dropped. I thought back on the time when my husband and I were sitting in my doctor’s office waiting to get the results from the pregnancy test I had just taken. Shortly after that, the doctor walked in and said “Congratulations, you have another little one on the way”. I remember how happy we both were to hear the news. We went home and shared the news with our other children. About five in a half months after that, I started to feel disconnected with the pregnancy. I started to have dreams of the pregnancy not going full term, and me losing the baby. I would share the dreams with my husband and he would say, “Bay, that’s something you women be worried about, everything is going to be just fine, trust God”. I said “Baby., I know when God is warning me about something”. To make a long story short, at six months I lost the baby. I never questioned God on why, because I know he’s in control, and has power over all things.

Well today I’m thinking back on the time when God woke me up and told me I was pregnant again with another baby, and this baby will uplift, encourage and motivate many. He also warned me of the pains I would get from time to time while carrying this baby. He said “Fear not, you will not lose this baby nothing will keep you from going full term”. Although the pain and the enemy will come and make you think you are about to miscarry, you won’t. The enemy tried to take my baby, but no weapon formed against Sisters Building Sisters, my children, my husband, or me, then or now shall prosper. Every thing that God says will come to pass, shall come to pass. Here’s proof, my baby, SBS, and my first workbook “You can make it, The Enemy’s Time is up”

Thank you God. I know that every woman that reads this workbook life will change and never be the same. Lord thank you, for everything you have done in my life. Every blessing, every trial and tribulation, I am grateful. For each one of them has made me draw closer to you. I love you Lord!!!!
