Today, I won’t complain.
It is true that there are things in my life, which cause me pain and distress.
I won’t complain.
I am not where I want to be but I am not where I used to be either.
I won’t complain.
I have suffered through many nights of discontent on my journey.
I won’t complain.
I have been called everything but a child of the King.
I won’t complain.
I have been my own worst enemy with poor choices and bad decisions.
I won’t complain.
My get up and go, got up and went a long time ago.
I won’t complain.
God has just been too good in spite of all the challenges.
I have been sustained and weathered many a storm.
Thanks to His outpouring of grace and mercy.
Instead of worrying about what and who I don’t have I will be grateful for what and who I do have.
Today, I won’t complain.
